Me attacking Me

I'm attacking myself. Gotta get rid of some unnecessary buildings in a village I took over. This way I get the wheat back.

You could just send wheat to that village and build up the granary, rely on sending wheat, then eventually build back up the fields.

Having trouble following you Frank...I wanted to get the wheat that the structures took up in population back so I could apply it to troops. When I destoryed the embassy my wheat consumption (overall) dropped several points. Deconstructing the building would not have done that. I don't have a wheat shortage because my wheat production is still at 1600 per hour. I plan to use that on all troops though.

I've tested it a few times and it makes sense. Wouldn't it stand to reason that if you willfully deconstruct a building, the workers or inhabitants would just got somewhere else in your village and work, or just simply become unemployed? They wouldn't die and thus take up less wheat. Now if you destroy a structure, then those inside die and your wheat consumption DOES go down because of it. I've tried it both ways a few times each and it turns out that way each time.

im pretty sure its very mathematical, demolishing a building level by level will yeild the same amount of crop as if you catapulted it, the only difference is catapulting is a lot faster, and results are instantaneous, so that huge jump in crop might make you think that it frees up more crop, but its really exactly the same.

It's not about getting "more" crop... I contend that I get NO crop when I deconstruct level by level. I've watched it... the crop doesn't move. Am I retarded?! Maybe I should give it another try but I swear I watch it. When I catapult I get the crop, no problem.

if you are building the troops then as it goes down the new troops take it up again at a similar rate where as with catas there is a sudden jump larger than deconstruct time of troops.

Well im 100% sure you lose population when deconstructing a building but crop im not so sure about.

You lose population and your crop consumption drops when you destroy a building. I'm not sure why someone would think differently.

Embassies are very important. I have level 20 embassies and academies in all my villages. The culture points for those buildings at level 20 are worth the crop consumption.
