Epic battle, TF/OMEN/WE vs danmac/Tyr/others

Hahaa, madigan's army down, just about every catapult WE has down, and i lost 6 villages to conquers. I'll try to get the reports together, #3 defensively on the server right now.

Apparently we have spies in here, but I want everyone to know, we just took out pretty much all of WE tonight minus a few lucky players, and just about all of omens remaining armies. I mean, this is a one front war now! =P

Just grabbed that our oF IRC. That was his clear. So many more similar to it, missed a couple large ones that hit my other villages but in reality I would have needed about 50k troops at every village to defend those, im just happy the capital is still standing.

Not bad for what was in reality a 5 person defense =P

Madigan's offense is in his capital. It's going to take him a couple months to rebuild all those troops. That's why I strongly suggest that people put their offensive village somewhere other than their capital -- where they can have a great barracks and great stable to cut your rebuilding time in half. You probably have less merchants moving crops to support your army -- but the rebuild time is not worth it.

I'm curious what our losses are compared to theirs and the resource cost. I'm sure we can claim a success. But I'm wondering just how much of a success.

My hero wasn't there. He was out helping with a conquer. So I have no hero levels to make up for my lost troops. Also, my hero didn't give his defensive bonus to my defenders. I didn't think it was going to be as big a wave of attacks, or I'd have gotten up at 3 a.m. when he got back to send him down there.

I wouldn't send catas against any of those conquered villages. Never know what will happen.

I'm in favor of officially declaring war on WE now. I don't know the repercussions that would have with our shared allies. But it's obvious that they are with TF and we are at war.

And yes, that 5 person defense consists of probably the four largest defensive armies on the server or pretty close to it =P

yes, hero XP. at midnight last night, my hero was L37. As of right now, 15 hours later, he is L47. It''s pays to have a high regen in place when there are multiple attacks.

Go ahead and rub it in about your heroes. My lowly Haeduan hero is not worthy. I missed probably 15 levels of XP in that attack. I get it.

Actually, I'm think I'm fine on resources. I haven't done the calculations yet. However, I expect to be able to rebuild without help and I don't think it will take too long -- just guessing at less than 14 days.
